I had tried replacing the pilot light myself over the weekend- this didn’t fix the problem, but did ensure that by the time I called Python we had already been without hot water for a few days. They were efficient and able to organize and complete the job by Tuesday afternoon. Very impressed! They gave me an accurate quote up front (that included disposal, the new heater, the installation, and a warranty), and warned me about one additional piping charge that they couldn’t be sure would apply to my situation until they came in person. John, the plumber who did the job, was courteous and friendly. He explained what he had to do and what he needed from me. After assessing the situation, he said I would be charged a bit more for the piping as forewarned. He gave me a ballpark, and the charge ended up being right in the middle of that. I had pipes that were approx 100 years old that had built up calcium and would no longer work. We had no running water to the master bath and no hot water at all. He had it replaced in a short period of time and corrected a few issues that a previous plumber left when installing my water softener.
